  1. Mission:

The air pollution control lab is one of the new laboratories established in the framework of the Can Tho Universiry Improvement Project (ODA Project) in 2022. The lab is divided into 3 units: Sample preparation room, Basic air pollution control room, and Advanced air pollution control room. The lab plays an improtant role in teaching the practical subjects related to air quality monitoring, air pollution control, dust and air pollutant treatment. In addition, the lab is a place where the undergraduate, graduate and doctor students conduct thesis on the air pollution control fields. Besides, the lab is also invested high technology equipment for the speacial researches on air quality monitoring and air pollutant treatment.

  1. Research

The air pollution control lab servies scientific research activities such as assessment of the indoor and outdoor air quality, the efficiency of air pollution treatment measures, green house gas emission, etc. The lab has been equiped equipment, tools for analyzing air quality parameter, including micro-climate parameters (e.g air temperature, humidity, wind speed…), ambient air quality parameters (total dust, particle matters PM10, PM2,5, CO, CO2, SO2, NOx…), other inorganic and organic gases from combustion and industrial activities…
